Michael (he/him) show Fabulett 1933, a queer one-person musical, which he has written and performed, had two run's at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received multiple 5 and 4 star reviews ('incredibly thoughtful - and often moving' ★★★★★ Edinburgh Guide) and Michael's performance has been praised: 'Trauffer strikes a magnetic figure, his fine features flashing from joy to terror, eyes wide and bright, body expressive, taut and vulnerable...' (★★★★ The Scotsman); 'Trauffer is exceptional' (★★★★ Lost in Theatreland).

In 2024, Michael premiered The Pink List at London's King's Head Theatre in 2024. The show has been praised by critics as 'enlightening and intelligent' (★★★★ London Theatre 1), and Trauffer's performance in it was commended: 'Trauffer has huge stage presence, and his slightly unassuming, slightly self-deprecating attitude is overlaid with a strong defiance and bravery.' (★★★★★ Scene Magazine). It had a successful limited run with Gilded Balloon at Edinburgh Fringe 2025.

Further performances include: German Soldier in feature film 'The Queen Mary' (Rocket Science, dir: Gary Shore); Production singer for the 'Mein Schiff' fleet (TUI Cruises); Production singer on the 'Astor' (CMV/TransOcean); Soloist in Cabaret Evenings (Battersea Barge, London), as well as the Turkey in Honk! (The Tramshed, London).

​Michael trained in Musical Theatre at KSA Academy of Performing Arts, London/Trinity College London and graduated with distinction.
